Alomone Labs Ltd is a privately owned biotechnology company, founded in 1989 and based in Jerusalem, Israel.
Alomone specialises in supplying innovative biochemical and molecular tools for the neuroscience research community. These tools include polyclonal antibodies and natural and recombinant toxin proteins. Alomone aim to be at the forefront of cutting edge biotechnology, and to use this knowledge to develop molecular tools for ion channel research. To this end Alomone invests heavily in R&D. Research focuses on the subjects of ion channel research and signal transduction using recombinant DNA, and molecular and immunological techniques. Alomone also work closely with domestic academic research groups, in particular with research scientists from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and from the Weizmann Institute.
